Visit to Monash Experimental Learning Space

This was a fascinating space. Lots of technology, including glass that switches from clear to opaque at the flick of a switch. Great use of coloured light. Some studies have been done here about the colour of the light and impact on the learning experience.
I wanted to post a video but Blogspot is not accepting my videos any more and there seems to be lots of complaints on the web about it. I will continue to investigate.
So here are some pics.

This picture shows a table made up of six 60 degree segments all on casters for ease of movement.
These tables are very neat. They are also height adjustable using gas struts, they can be a little hard to push down, and they flip up for easy storage allowing for use in an adaptable room.
I want one of these spaces and can't wait to see Peter's experimental space. Strangely we have not had time to visit yet.

Single segment

Flipped and stored. The chairs do a similar thing.
